UNITEDWORLDPOETS-MYTHIC POETRY

The perceptive reader will have noticed that i use much mythic-metaphors in my works...references to the ancient deities, oracles and esoteric-traditions, in poetry-format, enhances the potency of the poet. So, i'd like my fellow UWP poet co-members to please just attempt to utilize ALL ANCIENT MYTHIC THEMES AND PERSONAGES as tools to give your poetry a deeper creative punch. This will entail much reading(yes, you must become familiar with all the Classics), and then CREATIVE INCORPORATION; which means as a poet, you must permit your imagination to literally transport you to that time and place...this little MAGIC just might surprise you.
