Fuck D.A.D,T,

Did you know President Obama took the podium at an LGBT equality event last night? It was the first time a sitting president has spoken at the Human Rights Campaign's national dinner in over a decade. He spoke about Dont Ask Dont Tell and The Matthew Shephard Law! He promises to make a change.

Watch the video and see what he had to say! Just click on the link below.

Fuck DADT!

Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Be, Don't Exist, Lie!
Don't share who are, just resist, Deny!
You can't openly serve for our country, Why?

Don't be open, go back in the closet!
Your not hetero enough to fight, where is the logic?
It makes no sense and it's about time we stop it.

Your too gay to protect our nation,
This is brainless discrimination.
How exactly is sexuality relevant to a military situation?

You can't be a soldier, because you're too queer.
You can't fight for our honor, choose a new career.
I can't understand it, What exactly do they fear?

That you might spread gay cooties on the other army boys?
That you'll be applying eyeliner when you batallion deploys?
That you'll misuse your guns as anal sex toys?

This is absolutly ridiculous!
Let's get rid of this.
This ignorant law is painfully ludicrous.

How many skilled technicians need to be discharged?
It's a violation of civil rights, that we have fought for so hard.
Freedom is so important, please don't disregard.

Our Army needs able troops, can't they comprehend?
Because of ignorant fears, brave Americans can't serve and defend.
Because of homophobia, our military is now weakened.

This law must be put to an end!

Don't ask Don't tell

Well, first I will state my opinion. I don't agree with war at all. It is a disgusting, murderous thing, that defines the world. Hey, they have oil! I want that oil! Lets kill em'!!! Hey, wait just...

Don't Ask Don't Tell

How do you feel about the policy Don't Ask Don't Tell which allows the military to discharge a soldier if they are openly homosexual or bisexual. § 654. Policy concerning homosexuality in the arme...

Today November 21st is The Transgender Day of Remembrance, take a moment to reflect on the lives lost due to Hate Crimes aimed at transgender people.

On that note... good news!

The Matthew Shephard and James Byrd Hate Crimes bill has passed in congress, been signed by Obama and is now a law. Police now have more resources to fight against hate crimes targeted at LGBT people

Oh, how we’ve fallen to this Tango de la Muerte
Willing yielded hands that forms to your body soft contours
Tell me in motion you want me...to take the lead
Passions dance lingers arousing awakened senses
Yearning controls the desire with each awaited step
Tell me in motion touch is just your soul climaxing
Fingertips fall prey to heated skin, every lost whimper gets translated
Into our breathings 4 count
And with each pattern we desire to stay lost in dance indefinitely.

take out all the bad images
the assumptions
the misunderstandings
the ridicule
focus on what's important
the pure love
the excitement
the happiness filling within you

isn't that what it's all about?
isn't that what we're all looking for in the end?

you and them
me and you
us
be are all looking for an us

yes she was a lesbian
she might have been gay
choose the opposite sex
to be obeyed

but she gave up
she could`nt be fake
her heart told her
this is the wrong way
you choose that path
and love will delay.

She was stubborn
and afraid
she didnt sink
she didnt quite
lived the unhappiness
untill she gave in
because i shall not live this way
in judgements
i don t want to take place
i seeked to hide
but it just tore down my bright side
all with secrets
but i turned into me
after i expierianced him
i have to speak
did not like him touching me
i swing to the other side
climb the other mountain
were ignorant people speak
"its wrong"
"your commiting a sin"
i dont hear them
i am no longer ashamed

i love her
she might care about me
who knows
ill just wait
to be forgive
and take part
of what may be normal

i must not hide
i must not lie
soar freedom
and its seldom
because in judgement
i do not see to be free

i`ve been punished
i`ve been beat
but i will definatly not retreat
to make you happy
i rather sleep
shut my eyes forever
before i let you tease

my sexuality
makes me me.

this poem doesnt refer to me
but i am speaking out
on judgments towards
a persons sexuality
its there life
they decide what they`ll be.

Blizzard Haze

I'm escaping into
my mind
Your sleeping in
my dreams
The ice is thin yet
I'm frozen in you
Cause my heartaches
in your barren landscaope
Winters comin' as my
soul is burning, eyes are
yearning
Between reality and my dreams
I'm buried in the snow drifts
with your demons
You and me together thats
bliss that will go on forever
But for now its something
that we could never be
Like my ankle
These thoughts they're
slowly turning
Take a piece of me with
you and my heart too
Your soul is my tattoo
I'll think of you today and
well, well into tomorrow
Your sweet meloncholy words
are my fuel to keep me alive
Yet they will never be heard
Were climbing that mountain
Were in white out conditions
Were in a blizzard haze
Forever were seperated
Forever were absurd

What are your intentions
towards me?
Would I care to follow
your flirtations
Will you be my friend
after the rejection
Will you fall quickly
if I say maybe
Will you still feel me
and I feel you
once we sober up
from ecstasy
who knows but
my feelings are surreal
My eyes and me in you I
feel

*just free wrote this also* add to if u like or just say it sucks lol
Erica Robinson Comment by Erica Robinson on October 12, 2009 at 12:19pm
this is my world
stay in or stay out
embrace or reject
only you can choose

this is my heart
understand or ignore
love or hate
only you can choose

this is my choice
fall in or fall out
agree or debate
only you can choose

but this is our sky
good and bad
real of fake
no one can choose when it rains or shines
but we can choose how we see it as a downer, or a thing of beauty

[just came up with that off the top of my head]
