Standing in the center of a Cathedral,
in silent awe at the surrounding,breathtaking Art;
so timeless these treasures are,
and the eternal prayers that seems to sustain
them throughout Time.
My eyes are mesmerized by their majesty,
by the celestial beauty of it all...
and then, I noticed the WINDOWS!
As the assembly began another HYMN...
their voices resounding like Angels;
I gazed upon these wonderful MIRACLES OF MAN,
these huge panes of stained-glass,
and all the elegant colors...
Within each window appears a holy scene and
the familiar visages;
and as the afternoon SUN shines through, brilliant
colors fills the interior...
so, Immaculate!
So, I turn in silent prayer, and ask:
'May the World look at the stained-glass windows of
my soul, and all souls and let us appreciate all the various
colors of every pane of glass.'
