I love my mama today
Probably more than I ever did
I regret all my misbehaves
And how I took life for granted as a kid
When things didn’t go right anger filled my head
Insanity with sanity through our struggles I failed to manage me
I know many times I thought to blame you for just about everything
From the family side life
To opening up the refrigerator wishing we had food inside
But though them days seemed long
Your love for me always stayed strong
From giving me advice to always being available in my life
So as time moves on
I’m here to give you my all mom
Whether or not I’m your favorite son
