That's atmosphere. If you listen, google the lyrics cause they're both quite story-like.
What I meant is that you don't necessarily use a lot of writing techniques, and your style isn't a complex style but it does what it's supposed to well. The analogy failed since you don't listen to rap, though. But if you listen to the songs I linked you to, maybe it'll make more sense to you.
