ran calm like lakes/ and purified it spirit like fresh mountain springs/ then maybe, the deep blue of uncertainty would not appear to be shallow as ponds/ and as murky as swamps/ spinning in whirlpools of confusion/ going around and around, swallowing lies, to regurgitate them as truth/ reflecting drowned innocence on its glass surface; such as Treyvan Martin, Yuseff Hawkins, Vanessa Kirkland, Oscar Grant, Jorge Gomez, James Craig Anderson, Wendell Allen / whose destinies were dragged through the rip tides rapture and submerged into the abyss of fear/ for the sea is unmistakably not kind to the innocent and the guilty/ there is no distinguishing them both/ because when the mighty waters roar and opens it tainted mouth, it swallows all in its path/ our perception of reality is usurped and crumbles into the hallowed waters of no remorse and unforgiveness / where the only rules it obeys are its own/ welcoming the inevitability of us all being consumed by the ocean, which is as certain as the day it gave birth to us as a single cell ameba/ the ocean&rsquo;s reluctance to&nbsp; recognize us as significant beings that matter, isn&rsquo;t what matters, because that&rsquo;s all we are, matter/ being swept back and forth from shore to shore/ and no one, no one is safe from the sea&rsquo;s&nbsp;
