There is a prize light in your eyes,

with a smile that is warm and caring.

Together, our lips bring touching comfort,

to fill our hearts with passion for sharing.

A world wind planned the reason for living.

You are in my soul and we are in motion,

moving through rooms for improvement.

In choices, we meet hope and devotion.

Strong arms to unlock doors of pleasure,

of magical places filled with many wonders.

Inner strength holds our world together,

thoughts within bathed by warm showers.

Steams drifting into dreams soft and green,

the reality of our wishes is yet to be seen.

Bedtime Stories

One of my favorite times to spend with my kids is bedtime.
I get to tell them stories that soothe them to sleep.
Sometimes they play the role of detective and stop many in the act of a crime.
Other times they are like men of old tending to their flocks of sheep.

When they were still just babes, I told them how they were gems that God has made.
I have told them great adventures that involved chasing mean old dragons.
The knights would ride toward danger with an outstretched blade.
They fought the beasts on behalf of their people for honorable reasons.

Every night, I try to stick to only one story before turning out the light.
Sometimes that one becomes two and before I know it, even I am blinking my eyes.
When it comes to story time, their eyes always lit up in delight.
From story time to dreaming, their imaginations soar higher than the skies.

There have been times where one of the boys wakes up from a nightmare and yells for his life.
I swoop in and saved the day by telling him he’s as strong as the hero in his favorite story.
A knight by the name of Claude, he defeated a three-horned monster without even having a knife.
I told my son that he had the same power; he can cause his nightmares to be scared and flee.

I tell them stories that entertain and uplift so they don’t go to sleep afraid.
Even if they have bad dreams, they are thankfully few and far between.
Sometimes I tell them stories in hopes that while they dream, they figure out how things are made.
Some of the greatest minds had dreams that helped bring new inventions to the world’s scene.

Once in a while the boys will insist on telling me a bedtime story.
I usually oblige and listen as they create their own landscapes and characters.
They normally tell of fantasy worlds with knights and elves standing for righteousness and glory.
Mostly innocent, their stories make me think that one day if they chose, they could be really great actors.

At the end of every story told, I give them a hug and a kiss on the forehead.
I whisper to them, “I am proud to have you as my kids, I love you and goodnight”.
As I exit the room they quickly fall asleep, relaxed and snug in their bed.
Closing the door slowly I watch for a moment as they sleep, and for a moment, I know everything is going to turn out good and right.

I want to feel as if its just me and you in the world. In a room full of beauties, you just see me;and in your mind we dance on the moon all day. When you think of me,you still get butterlies;your dreams of me are beyond my thighs. I want you you to hold onto my hand as your life depends on it. I want to feel..... I want to feel like I'm on fire when you look at me,as I clench my insides with my knees. When I look in your eyes I want to see security. I want to feel my heart dance when you talk to me. I need you to hold onto me like a Sunday afternoo . But I feel like..... I'm on this dance floor all alone,this lonely queen on her thrown. I'm convience,not a priority; you can't see me to busy looking pass me,not thinking about quality over quantity. But I'm just here in my feelings, but you can't hear me.

Fatherless Trends

Where do I begin? I have two wonderful boys looking up to me

I'm not the best man to be in this terrifying yet amazing position

My father was never there to present any path for me to see

It seems that , if in front of them, I just end up making horrible decisions

I understand that everyone makes mistakes from time to time.

What if my next is the mistake that causes them to hate and never forgive

These thoughts may just be paranoia, but for the moment, they’re stuck on my mind

It scares me that I may be showing them the wrong way to live

Every step I make, they will always be there watching their dad

It’s scary to think that my mistakes can change their lives forever

There may be moments where I cause them to feel lonely and sad

I need to make sure they know my love stretches beyond their future

No matter the distance I go, in my heart are my boys.

My outlook on life was totally different before they entered the picture

Never in a million years would I have thought that I would encounter such joys

I need to start to do what I must to be a positive and permanent fixture

I need to be there to comfort them when physically or emotionally, they get hurt

I need to put my all in to making sure that they have everything they could need

If they come to me after getting injured, I should be there to brush it off like dirt

I need to teach them and I the way to grow into a man, as a tree that grows from a seed

Through all of the mistakes that I have made and have yet to make

Somehow, I know that everything will work out in the end

As they mature into two great men, I know they will understand what I had at stake

I need to learn how to love and stop a fatherless trend

The end of eternity

Eternal are your eyes,

two suns shining inside my soul.

Holy mountains and the red clouds,

green are the orchards.

Your lips a life – giving rain,

some water on the desert’s sand.

Your golden hair,

the road to the heavens.

On you my thoughts are flying,

white birds surrounding my dreams.

A soft and tender feather

your touch exploring my body.

Is it real?

These illusions are breaking my mind.

How much forever lasts?

Eternity’s a drop into the ocean

when my life, my mind, my body

slip away on your vestal skin.

Some flowers and the red earth.

Strange is that, my heart

thrives on this red earth.

It is my first try writing in English.

I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, which is writing in Greek and try something new.

But now I've been pushed

Shoved from my home

Inside your heart...

What is with this hole?

It's as cold as ice

In the corners of my mind

Though to say so

To ruin your fire

Would be the utmost

Selfishness

Your words once kind

Stag daggers deep inside

Never missing your mark...

The gap between us is growing

And I'm falling

Further and further away

Breaking my bones on

The jagged edges.

You fall in love

And love hurts

Say it while the intoxicant dismembered your soul.

No longer battling what was once out of my control.

Trailing a heartbeat.

But your words,

No longer making me believe.

A term I will never complete.

I meant to say I loathe.

Loathe the feeling.

Loathe the place I distinctly remember.

Reached for a facade,

Maybe if your arms soared thru the clouds.

Those were the words I thought I said.
Maybe... I never said them, but I thought them inside my head.
I love you, even though I never showed it in the things I would do.
Maybe... I never showed it because I assumed you always knew.
I know now that I should have shown my love every single day.
Maybe... if I did, you would have never gone away.
I left you alone with evicted feelings and never offered you my hand.
I never considered your feelings or that our love would ever end.
Love is a reciprocal thing that takes two lovers to make it work.
Maybe...if I had shown more love you would've known what yours was worth.
