Beautiful Friend

I see the wonderful stars…way up high
Each one complementing the heaven
Just like this beautiful friend I have
He’s ever glowing, and He warms this heart of mine
I need no special occasion, no specific location
Affixed date or time to get His undivided attention…
He’s right by my side; He’s my inception
My Father, my Lover, my Keeper…

I can sit here, recollect the good times we had
How many times I slipped away
But He pulled me right back in
When I contemplate the sacrifice and the affection
The peace and the delectation
The liberty and the faithfulness…
I had no choice, but to surrender to His sweetness
His arms are the richest and dearest
My soul is enrapture, Jehovah, Precious Lord
How contemplative and benign you are!
I am extremely grateful to know You
And to received You in my heart!
