Publishing Content on UnitedWorldPoets
Users own all rights to their content. At anytime you can delete or republish your content elsewhere. UnitedWorldPoets is a community website for poets to freely publish their work. UnitedWorldPoets does not own nor wish to own the rights of user content.

Terms

When you create an account at UnitedWorldPoets you agree to these terms. UnitedWorldPoets may change or add to these terms at anytime with or without warning.

User Names

Offensive, explicit, sexual, racial or other similar user names or not allowed. If you create an account with such a username your account may be deleted.

User Content

You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, tags, or other materials whether publicly displayed or privately transmitted on the UnitedWorldPoets are the sole responsibility of the person or entity from whom such Content originated. Users own all rights to their content. UnitedWorldPoets is not responsible for loss of damaged content.

User Conduct

Using content or comments to insult, attack or threaten other users is not allowed.

Content Moderation

You acknowledge and agree that any content that you upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available to the UnitedWorldPoets services including comments, forum messages or topics, chat messages, shared activities, and updates or any other content may be removed at any time.

Posting Criteria

You are not allow to post content that

is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing

harms minors in any way;

impersonates any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
forges headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers
"stalk" or otherwise harass another

You also cannot

upload mature, explicit, nude, porn or any other extremely sexual or boarder line sexual images
circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, by any means, any CAPTCHA controls or other identity-verification controls implemented by UnitedWorldPoets.

disrupt the normal flow of dialogue or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in real-time exchanges;

any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation

Plagiarism

You may not post others content on UnitedWorldPoets as if it is your own. If you post content that belongs to another author you must give detailed in-post citation to the author of the content.

User Account Control
You are allowed to delete your account and all content related to it at any time.
To delete your account: First go to your account page. Next click the edit tab located on your account page. Last scroll down and click Delete Account, then confirm it. UnitedWorldPoets also has the right to delete your account at anytime. To avoid having your account deleted please follow these term guidelines.

UnitedWorldPoets eBook/Magazine Publication
When you create an account at UnitedWorldPoets you give UnitedWorldPoets the right to publish or showcase your content in an eBook, magazine or similar publication that is distributed freely (not sold). UnitedWorldPoets will make an agreement with you before ever selling your material in anyway (book, magazine).

Poetry Contests

You may only enter one poem into a poetry contest.

If you enter multiple poems you may be disqualified.

If you enter a poem written by someone else you will be disqualified.

If you enter a poem previously published (including on UnitedWorldPoets) or entered into another poetry contest you will be disqualified.
If you are the selected winner and fail to reply to the notification email within UnitedWorldPoets disclosed time frame you will be disqualified.

Commenting Guidelines

When commenting on other’s content you may not use words that are explicit, hateful, degrading or any other such similar words or phrases.

Poetry Challenges

Users who create Poetry Challenges are responsible for the judging, notifications and maintenance of their Poetry Challenge. Users who offer a prize to the winner of their Poetry Challenge are responsible for providing that prize to their Poetry Challenge winner. UnitedWorldPoets is not responsible for prizes offered by Poetry Challenge creators.

Feedback Options

Any Feed Back Welcomed
You may leave any such feedback as long as it’s within the guidelines.

Positive Feedback Only
You may only leave positive feedback. Any other such feedback is not acceptable.

Constructive Criticism Only
You may leave constructive criticism as long as it’s within the guidelines.

If you do not follow these guidelines your account may be deleted along with all of your content.

Violations

If you find users breaking these terms please report it to support.

Agreement
