lovechild firecats

My poems are either harbingers of doom
or hopes filled up like helium balloons,
or appreciative tributes showing awe
for something in someone that I just saw.
Others I write just to get the gut-rot out;
the rest to show the world what I'm about.
I think we have come far by letting flow
emotions waterfall, pooled down below.
