Soul Seeker

Hand reaches, flesh and shell
Wraps around the orb of life
Hard and pearl grey, yet lack luster
Gentle lover beneath vampire skin
Her ear faces the earth, eyebrows kiss
This the one she loves she seeks to fix
Mid eyes press
Rose petals part releasing summer’s breeze
So cool and desired
Blood fists that clench to passion speak
Rushed, stammer, dire
Pink petals flash his predators’ bone
His life orb she squeezes
Seeking to bruise, to penetrate
Only to flicker red and dull
To the color of indifference
Remains impenetrable
Rose petals hug, trapping summer’s breeze
Blood fists silent their chatter
Hands, flesh and shell; shocked, stung
Release the ball of snow
Which it clenched so tenaciously
Breaking; releasing her bloody lover
Too late

Why did you do it?
I understand the pain
you were going through
I know how you felt
like the world and everything else
where coming all down
I know...
Why didn't you come
to me for help?
