When It Affects Them

Different things affect different people

Certain situations are made for those in a hole

Communities are not all the same

Segregation the base of city separation

Some laws are set for those of a specific complexion

While other laws are never passed

Because it doesn’t hit home

To the leaders on the throne

The truth ain’t hard understand

Eyes blinded in the women and men

Minds closed to the facts you don’t wanna compose

I won’t accept a dose of something that doesn't help me

When what we need you won’t supply

Speaking on those careless heartless minds
