Of any kind
....Loom...
In dark rooms
Until they bloom
Into bright places
Flourishing in light spaces
Upon UN-crowded happiness
Far too few find it …. Unless….
They leave the herd they travel with
And leave to the past old time
And the future that at present does not exist
The illusions that create the current emptiness
Only then can rigid thoughts bend
Like color bows
To a hidden pot of gold
….Or buried gem
Discover… INgenious
Discover… YOUr best
It’s different for each
It’s not the fad of Everyday Street
As much as we are one
We are merely a piece
…unique
Inquisitive mind listen to an inner greatness speak
It’s not outside of you
It’s below your crown
And above your sole
Stop wandering
Stop wondering
Search your soul
This poem is about discovering your own happiness/success right now, however that is defined by you. It’s about not following the crowd, or hopping on the latest trend. It’s about not being crippled by your past and at the same time not being so wrapped up in chasing a future that at this point does not exist. We are all guilty of saying when we get here or when we accomplish this, my life will be complete. But we are already complete and blessed right now.
The bold text is a fun twist on the poem. The poem is about inner happiness, so I used a text to deliver an inner message. If you read the bold text with a few inserted words, it would go like this:
Minds loom in darkness until they flourish in uncrowded happiness. Leave the herd! And remember past and present does not exist. Illusions are emptiness. There’s a hidden gem inside of you. So be different! You are one piece, unique. Your greatness is not outside of you. Search your soul.

This is brilliant! As I was
This is brilliant! As I was reading this poem I immediately thought of quieting oneself and meditating finding that quiet time to reflect and merely be in the moment. I myself do this and find such peace for it is within all of us. Your message is one everyone needs to be reminded of. We live in a world full of illusion and distraction, we have become disconnected from our inner selves especially the youth. I love the creativity and the poem within a poem. I tip my hat to you, poetess. Bravo!
