Light

people and places

JezzicaSteel's picture

Desolate

Desolate and diminished soul,
The darkness dwells so close to me.
Brilliant vibrant and beautiful,
You have no flaws that I can see.
I'll run away, a scared little girl,

Shine your light on me.

I know when you are away or when you are coming. I look at the sky. When it gets cloudy and grey, I know you are away and when the sun comes out I know you are on your way.

The Everlasting Sun

poetry picture

Drowning eternally in the overwhelming sun
The damaged shade from his shadow,
seems too comforting at times
The shining light seems warm and at times hurtful

Haven't seen

i have not seen in a while.
Perhaps we have died.
Perhaps the ray has lost its way,
loving through the dark,
or perhaps lost it fumbled through the dark.
Or, the fight, it killed
his dream

The Light

poetry picture

There is a light that I can see
I wonder what that light could be
The sand around was cool this night
That light up there was very bright

There is a light that I can see

JezzicaSteel's picture

Burn

In this endless darkness I wander,
The only sound is the beating of my heart,
And through these different universes I wonder,
Will anybody come here to save me?

Beyond Wonderland

Beyond Wonderland
By: Adam M. Snow

I've searched this morbid night,
longing for this love's delight,
behind this nameless emotion,
and in search for my soul's devotion.

The Star

The Star
By: Adam M. Snow

The star in the sky,
is evermore so bright.
It'll never fade away,
as it fills the sky with light.
It's something to reach for,
when you're awake or asleep.

This Is Real

I can't believe this is really happening,
Maybe I'm still happily dreaming,
This isn't like the times before,
When my heart was a slamming door,
I still don't know what love means,

Broken Lullaby

Broken Lullaby
By: Adam M. Snow

Awaken the children,
let them see,
all agony's within,
and perhaps just maybe,
they would lose all hope,
all their dreams,
all feelings would cope,
not the moon's shattered beams.

Awaken the infant,
the one who's mild,
as the moon once crescent,
now sings to that child.
All is lost,
so it seems,
like floods of life in frost,
