If you're fully signed up to life

If you're fully signed up to life
Death is there in the disclaimer
Don't start life in your afterlife
Doing that could lose you tenure
Procrastination is a no
If you're fully signed up to life
You have to live hail sleet and snow
Or life goes on, you're left to writhe
If you have fully paid the tithe
You can't have trouble getting through
If you're fully signed up to life
I'm waiting for the world to change

I'm Waiting for the world to change
The world waits too with gritted teeth
But can I tell you something strange?
I think the world's waiting for me
I poke my nose and eat it while
I'm waiting for the world to change
This task it has to reconcile?
Not something I can rearrange
when will it sort its grotty mange
Does it know i'll be late for tea?
Look at me,
Do you think I’m pretty?
Look at my face,
Is there a word for my race written on it?
Now tell me why we judge each other by what we see
Instead of getting to know each other personally
I call it hate
When you don’t actively participate
In getting to know the person
Why does it come down to this?
You don’t care who the person of the personal mind
sayin it myself

Staring at a blank page
Wonderin what to do with myself at this day in age
Living life like I'm acting on the stage
Sometimes wanting to be someone I'm not..
But wanting to be true.
But how do you do that when society judges you
By the way you
Look
Walk
Talk
Sound
But this is all at first glance
I might not look like a size 0 model
But I know enough of myself to be happy
Doubts never hunted me
One, two, three, triple hurt right next to me
Now my heart soaks from support not seen or heard
I’m twice as mad makes me twice as sad
Blowing emotions in the wind smashing my foot on the gas
Where do I go
Searching to bring back hope
Only this would balance my soul
