Aria (Album ~ Romance Moves Our Hearts)

Santiago Rupp's picture
poetry picture

Her hands were softly cold as she touched my face
Leaving with words of remorse

The white sky empty like her cerulean eyes

Death as beautiful as her smile
Life was breathed out of her

Her grave marks redemption

Laughter whilst the sorrow eats away the soul
Forsaken to a world without you
So many days of tears

Her lips softly cold as she kissed me
Left with a bloodstained marker

The red water lighter than her crimson wounds

Death never so beautiful as each word killed her
Lost in a void so dark

The earth scorched like her love

Compassion whilst the suffering tearing the soul apart
Condemned with a blood seal of agony
So many nights of weeping

Why do I cry when you deserved everything,
Why does your voice still linger haunting me
Why does your smile bring my heart down
Why do your eyes break away my defenses

The compassion you held
Values so highly kept
The love you delighted
Kindness so highly sealed

Love was never enough
The earth took you
No payment was ever enough
This debt could only be paid by the soul who was forsaken

Dreams higher than sky
Love colder than ice, Frozen on your soul

How much must I pay when I have nothing left

Her hands were softly cold as she touched my face
Leaving with words of remorse

The white sky empty like her cerulean eyes

Here lies an Aria in dedication of our suffering
