"Bite of Passion"
“Bite of passion”
In hours of darkness, they come to prey
On their feasting day
Deceased they lay
Victims soon decay
Dragged away
Nibbling
Fangs dribbling blood
Creatures packed in gangs
A preachers cross hangs
Reciting of prayer, frightening features as they stare
Creatures in the night play upon your fright
Cry out for help
Blink of an eye
They leave their bite
Leaving behind, despair
Now you become queen of night
Afraid of light
Unforeseen until Halloween night
Scene of fright, passion of the bite
In hours of darkness, you now belong
Creature of night, queen at first bite

Agreed. Also, im loving this holiday spirit. The dark edge to it really increases the creative spark and makes it that much better a poem. And it was a terrific poem to begin with. Great Job, as always
