Breaking
Breathe the smoke filled air
Wishing you could just care, enough
To see you're all I need
Waiting patiently for nothing,
but you keep waiting to be someone else
Suddenly..
What is happening?
Mother may I cry upon your shoulder..?
While you wait inside the car
crying softly
broken bottles filled with pain
and crushing fists aiming at mirrors.
Were all turning insane.
Where did the rest of us go
off to be new again.
I guess this is the best I can pretend
There's no faking were all breaking down
under the cold ground
When I die, die with me.
Mother, Why are we screaming
At faces we used to know
Hello past please come back
The future's killing us slow.
