On a long road to forgiveness
There’s a secret code, for forgetting
Take the road, show no regrets
Overload inflictions of distress
How do I decode that secret code, to forget?

I totally understand all you're expressing in this awesome poem. My nephews are going through the same with their mother, my sister is addicted to heroin & has lost all 7 of her kids. They say to have forgiven her, yet can't seem to forget her past mistakes. You are not alone!!!

Honesty in every art form is the most essential ingredient - it is what distinguishes the great from the good - this is blindingly honest - and great - thank you - every poet should write like this ! x

Poetess you write with such

Poetess you write with such strength and command. This is a great poem with so much feeling, so much pain and you move your reader through some rough terrain, yet we are more than willing to take the journey with you. Really wonderful writing.
