Longing...

poetry picture

So, he says, I can’t read your mind
Yet,I speak the words
You’re still oblivious
To my wants and needs
I’m practically on my knees
Begging for something, for you to give onto me

How? How… do I get through to you?
My heart aches, hollow in its depth
Don’t try and read my mind, it’s my heart you need to hear
It’s screaming…oh please dear, hear my cries
In a cave, my heart is on the ground, and craves
Cold and shivering it lays

I love you, you say…
I’m def, I cannot hear
For my heart is aching over here
Without a pulse,
I am dull
Misery, punish me
Exiling me to a place that should never be
Longing for your touch
Waiting patiently, still an empty shell
Anxiety in here, for I fear
Its all clear, do you really see me balling my eyes out here?
All I want to be, is desired

This does not mean I love you less,
Just long for you to love me more
Adore me with every breath u take in
Act as if my feelings exist

Take me in your arms, when I’m sad
Caress upon my weary face
Fingers running through my hair
Feeling your hands roam, to that place…
You once desired of doing
Let’s dance all night, the way we did when we first met

Get it through your head; I’m not putting you down
Would like you to pick me up when I frown
Gentle kisses on my lips, I wish
I shouldn’t have to ask for it

Look at me, with such pleasure
Because I am a treasure
My heart is growing old, who knows…
How long my heart will glow

This seems like a love

This seems like a love battle. This poem had nice flow and style.
