On and off again,
Like a switch…
Nudge me for I am stuck in a ditch
A ditch of mixed up emotions
Flowing through my flesh, faster than a waterfall

Deep down… butterflies arise, in the very pit of my stomach
What causes so many emotions to exist?
Pin point where they all came from
Quick go see a psychic, maybe a shrink?
Better to leave it… alone
It’s forgotten for many reasons

Everything happens for a reason?
A saying… used every day,
Maybe so, we will never know

Dreams “verses” realities, like a sword fight…
Dancing about through your senseless mind
Fiercely thinking, why me?

Mixed up, turn up the music
Prance around, like you don’t care
Mixed emotions will always be there
Make the best of it, putting your heart to such great tests
Take chances, today is here
Tomorrow is near; you might not see another year
Truth be told, hold every day very dear

Put aside your angry past, live for today
And forget about tomorrow, it’ll all still be there
The mixed emotions, that lingers in there

Open eyes, shut them real tight
Lie down and rest, jump up to everyone’s test
Tell the truth, confess your sins
Live for today, it can be great!!
