Personal Testimony (Keep Your Eyes on the Prize)

Don't abandon Love to satisfy the desires of your flesh
It is not just a disappointment to your spirit
But an insult to the Most Holy God
Praise Him if you are praising Him
Be plucky, stand up for who and what you believe in
Dont listen to those voices, they are the devil in disguise
Things may seem luscious on the outside
But in the midst of adversities and dealing with sincerity
It is very arid and hollow on the inside
Stick to the thistles you already know
It doesn't hurt that much when they pierce your rind
God allows you to cross those bridges
He is the one that nurtures your wounds
Restores your health and fortifies you
He knows what tomorrow holds, the flesh cannot divulge
Love is here for eternity...the flesh is provisional; it will decay
Hold on to God's precious love; He is pacific
It is a privilege to have Him on your side
He will rive your enemies to fragments
Puissant is the King; He's from ancient days
Holy and righteous in all His ways
His mercy is unceasing and His truth endures forever
Keep your eyes on the Prize
Your spirit is infirm and abortive without Him
