restless

In the shadows of innocence
devil resides
in the heaven of earth
darkness abides
slow monotonous aimless strides
walk through the meadow
look in the eyes
eyes - without expression emotion and consideration
-stoned
looking at you, piercing your heart
grabbing it...drawing out
blood, veins and tears
where are you going?
heavens! this is too much to bear
everyday gloomy
everyday i cry
i do not want to live
i am living just to die...

i've read some long poems and I sometimes write poems that are kinda long but your's is somewhat short and to the point. I can completely understand you. At times I feel the same way. I truly do like your last 2 lines great way to end your poem ...
