Rollercoaster

I'm on a ride with no seatbelts frozen in time,
Up and down continues this loop of love not feeling too fine,
My insides are mistreated around comes another hill,
All my life had a pale of water but searching for my Jill,
So sick from this ride closed off from the world outside,
Shattered dreams from closed eyes love is one hell of a ride,
Can't get off if I want to what I'm gone do,
My shine is getting dull but who can I trust to,
Hold my hands my grip too tight,
My man seems childish right,
All I need is laughter to upgrade my joy overnight,
Ups are followed by downs,
Smiles are turned to frowns,
True love always seems false when my heart comes back around,
Tired of the movement standing still I'm alright,
Love is but a rollercoaster one hell of a ride!

Great poem! I'll have to

Great poem! I'll have to agree with you, "love is a rollercoaster one hell of a ride!" It's an absolutely beauty though when you have that true heart who loves you for who you are.

The thing most often compared

The thing most often compared to love is rollercoasters and this poem makes it perfectly clear why. I like the metaphor is used as a central theme for this poem. And i 100 percent agree that love is one hell of a ride.
