THE SILVER CHAIN

A silver chain around my neck,
I can’t escape over the deck.
I’m hungry and very thirsty,
Even my clothes are already dirty.

Get me out of this nasty place,
For me to feel the other days.
Why can’t you hear my call too loud?
Please listen to me all people and crowd.

The silver chain that surrounds my body,
I can’t breathe well and too untidy.
My red blood turns into rusty one,
Slowly dying and the hope lastly gone.

No one ever wants to remove the chain,
For the chain that surrounds me is the anger and pain.
Only I can remove it,
But where is the key under beneath?
