the crystal cave
THE CRYSTAL CAVE
she sleeps inside a crystal cave
dreaming deep dreams of better days.
sifting through long forgotten memories
she searches for something she cannot percieve
outside the days flash by and fade to grey
as tendrils of mist beckon the cave
But still she sleeps on, both night and day
guarded by the seven who's name i dread not say
she was born of blood and whitest snow.
Tragically destined to struggle
with no mother to show.
But her savage beauty brought more
grievance than gain
drowning her fairness with tears of pain
so this ivory princess
sleeps to be saved
dreaming her secret dreams
deep inside her crystal cave

when I read this poem it
when I read this poem it immediately made me think of ideas for other poetry. That was an awesome poem. I liked it because it reminded of snow white and sleeping beauty. Great imagery.
