The twinkling stars, in my dark world.

What was I before you came?
Before you came, I was nothing,
Just someone with the world to blame.

Life was like a history book,
Boring with many pages already turned by time,
No one ever watches, they only look.
With you near me the consequences chill my spine.

Why do you do this to me?
You make it hard to smile because; you make it hard to breathe,
You look beyond my firm mask; you know how to see,
As for oxygen, if you’re not there, then there’s no need.

Ill finally admit, you have control,
Why is everything so relaxed with you?
Is that what shines in your face, the beauty of your soul?
Is it your unique grace that perfects everything you do?

Spare me the fear of the thought if I lose you,
Before you, my sky never changed from dark to blue.
You hit my dark, starless sky like a meteor,
Breaking into a constellation of stars,
Your shimmer pulsates around you, head to the floor.

In a place so dull and empty,
You make it full and lively.
Every throw of dark and hate that people have ever hurled,
You are the loving, twinkling stars, here in my dark world.
