Vain Labor

When the mesa is too high
And the hills are too steep to climb
I will remain confident...
There originator is my strength and confidant
My trust is in the creator of every storm
And He protects me from all harm
When the mighty thunder rolls and the lightening flashes
That is power demonstrated by my Father on high
So why are you wasting your energy loathing me?
You can't stop the air that I am breathing
You can't quit this seed from growing
You can't prevent this flower from blooming
You can't stop this light from shinning
Believe me when I tell you, I am not afraid of your tongue
It can't break a bone, or hurt a muscle in my body
It can't stop the pounding in my chest
The blood streaming through my veins, it is supplied by the Greatest
I am anointed...so like the rest
Stop laboring in vain, and keep it moving
You are lacking love and wisdom
I am highly favored and I am blessed
