  • The Dark Side of the Sun

No one should live on the dark side of the sun

Where pain and sorrow love to run and hide

    Shield themselves from prying eyes

Behind a beautiful, blue faced pizza pie

A sapphire ball of fire mounted, in heavens sky

Where sun and moon rarely collide

    Teardrops instantly dry

So no one bothers to cry any more

    so please don’t explore

Allow yourself to be sucked into the core

    doomed to exist no more

On the dark side of the sun

    Here comes the Son...little darling,

  • It’s too bad!
You didn't recognize, the stone you rejected was a geode
I'm positive, if you had, known, you wouldn't have
Disregarded me, refused to try and see
    Through my rough exterior
    Instead, you labeled me inferior
    A worthless piece of rock
Whom, you never took much stock
In, the gifts that laid deep within
The core of who I was in Christ
Maybe if you had, taken the time, to look twice
    Been a true seeker
Those who encourage others, and dig deeper
You could have seen, that I was to be, a corner stone
    One of His precious gemstones
    Encapsulated in the catacombs
    Quietly being homed, to perfection
The image and reflection, of a God
    Who exposes to the world
Transforms ugly little boys and girls
From one man's trash, to His hidden treasure

    I'm Geode,
