My dark pit of despair.

The dense darkness envelopes me like a smothering shroud

​that seeps into my bones and very soul

As I fall deeper and deeper into a lonely pit of despair

​where my mind is tortured by intrusive turbilant thoughts 

Thattcursinglyy swirl around and around in my mind

​that are just too much to bare

​and  the icy cold grip of apathy takes it's grip on me.

My wretched body lays helpless

​upon a floor of sharp cutting shards of glass soul 

as my will and and battered  soul departs

​with excruciating   fear and dread

And the the deep wounds of my tender heart

Is cut to shredss as if with a sharpened knife

As life quietly slips away

​void of all hope love and happiness.

I try to escape my hellish dwelling

And the putrid stench of decay

But the hideous tormenting Ravens gather

With their beady hungry eyes

Waiting for the right time to pounce

and devour my tender flesh

​with their sharp pecking beaks

and ripping claw

to send me into the terror of darkness once more

​leaving me bruised battered and bewildered like before.

But I keep on trying to escape until one day

My darkness dissipates and I see the sun again

and start to live and join the human race

Again.
