I strive to stay alive

So im here to say

Im still standing

as I fly off this ledge in my superman stance
eyes glued to the ground my mind entranced
lids open but pupils unseeing beyond my last chance

gloomy days
make my eyes glaze with memories of him, them,
we and there afternoon naps,
long nights, no worries, no cares then BAM!
it hit me like a ton of bricks can’t believe this sh*t

It flows through my veins sweetly but deadly,
slowly killing me inside,
death’s kiss upon my lips,
I taste it vividly…
.SUICIDE,
everytime the pen touches my notebook I bleed from my chest,

she sits….bright eyed and pig-tailed

poised awkwardly at the dinner table

surrounded by family and others

yet still alone

singular

isolated if you will

the black sheep

this dream came to me like

moths drawn to a flame

and pollen to willing flowers

never knowing the hour

in which i would awake from this disturbance
