Fighting my way forward
Falling so far back
Fantasy beleaguers me
Forgetting all the past.
Forward I must continue
Feeling I'm in hell
Footholds I need to find and keep
For ascending out of this well.

Short but sweet. I'm glad ur able to move forward with your life. Even if it is through hell. I guess sometimes you gotta go through hell to get to heaven.

I am trying to move forward. It's hard. I am hoping I make it through hell.

This is a fight I think we all can relate to..Its so hard to move forward while falling over yesterdays dreams..But you will find a way...

I hope you are right.  I keep being dragged back (mentally) into the dreams and hopes that I had and were destroyed.  :P

Wow Lady, Glad you got the fight, but please don't fight me, I'm a coward ha ha. Well this really is a great poem. And despite what you are going through, your so positive, and an inspiration to us all. Hope you get to where you want to go, my feet are stuck in the mud. Take care Moogie.

Ah Moogie, your feet aren't stuck in the mud, you are just holding your own right now.  And as far as things go, holding the line is better than totally backsliding.  Which I seem to do every night.  I will try to keep fighting.  :)

Thank you Nathan.  I don't know if it's any soft of formal style or not, but that's how it came out of my head so that's how I wrote it.  :)
