Epiphany
Brighter than the sun,
was our hopes
Dimmer than the night sky,
became our hopes
Whiter than snow,
was our dreams
Blacker than the scorched earth,
became our dreams
Floating in ashes of hopes and dreams,
when our love was no more
When the fire hit the ground,
the earth shook
When the massacre engulfed the earth,
the rivers and oceans filled with blood
Floating in ashes of hopes and dreams,
when our love was no more,
all the suffering was in vain
Among the ashes I can find where our love rests,
In the broken hopes and dreams,
In the scorched earth, filled with flowing tears of blood
The world tearing apart what once was,
Filled with insanity
So long has our love been denyied of all rights,
So long have we waited, but look now things aren't as they were before,
They can never be the same,
Look at us now, we have overcome trials that have been set before us
I loved you for so long, but now the time has come for our farewells,
Don't think I'll forget you, I can never forget all those memories we created
The time has come for attonement, to mend our ways
I guess I loved you but our love has burnt our like an ember
Those time you weren't honest, I looked away for us, but too long have I ignored the ignorance you have, So sorry my beloved dear
No longer do I love you
