I Gave up the Path

I gave up the path,
It led me to where I am at,
I don't need it anymore,
I found where I belong.

Even if they don't understand me,
I know who still walks with me,
I am trying to understand why,
But love knowing, is all I need to know.

I named a Cafe in facebook called,
Poetry Cafe, cause I am a lover of words written,
An Strong in thy Faith,
Helps me write what I feel, thru the heart.

An seeing it there makes me smile,
As i am a Poet although unknown,
Never published a book,
Didn't think I was good enough.

But I gave up the Path, cause i am where I need to be,
As I was taught to find my religion I did.

But I still love to write,
Something i always done,
Just never thought a religion could inspire someone so much.
