Solitary confinement

Solitary confinement
As I tiredly place my head upon my hands to rest
Wondering how much more before I reach my best
Is my whole life just a little test?
Roaming and pacing
Sit or stand
Run for miles
Frown or smile
Content for a while
Then hostile
Frantically she screams
Leave me be here
In a dark room
Turn off the lights, and leave me to cry
Don’t ask me why, I just need a good old cry
You want answers to questions; I’ve got nothing to say
Go away
Is this a depression, bawling
Crawling on your hands and knees
Nothing matters, Scatter brained
Pitter patter, your mouth jabbers
What is the matter?
Ask me once, asking me twice
Words of advice
Don’t ask a third time
I won’t be so nice
Leave me here
Stay clear
Solitary confinement behind these doors
Is where I need to be!
