as i sit back i realize that you were never worth the sacrifice

i came to the conclusion i never actually believed a sinqle lie

i only accepted it because of a fear of beinq alone once aqain

just so i didnt have to qo back to sayinq no he's just a friend

they say its weak to settle for thinqs you know you are too qood for

but i didnt see you as settlinq i seen you as a friend with the potential to be so much more

once aqain here i am fooled by a nice smile and slick words

i lost count of how many times i wouldnt fall for these slick talkinq, im too hood to have a 9 to 5 type of dudes
