Surrealism

Pounding drums echo throughout that unholy circle.
An endless multitude of shades, cascade all about me, shifting and flowing through me.

These dancing devils, with glee in hand and step.

A face..

Not unlike my own,
stares back from that endless ocean of darkness.

Twisted in its torment,
laughing at my gaze.

Gravity distorting time,
That collapsing God.

A silent cry from depths of knowledge,
Welling up, inside of a desolation defined, now owned, quantified, quiet and still..

Upon the face of order I move,
a shadow frozen in time.
Seeking the Godhead.

Shattered reflections of an era past,
writhe past me with delicate grace.
Flowing smoothly as fine sand.
