From Behind These Bars

I toss,I turn,
I can't sleep at night,
Because I don't feel you,
By my side,
I dream,
Tho I'm not sleeping,
And I sob,
Because, I'm dreaming,
Dreaming of you,

My mind is haunted,
With memories of us,
What could have proved worthy,
Of my love and my trust,
But, I had to break free,
Escape from your prison,
I had to kill myself
So, I could start living.

But you found a way,

Trapped

Trapped

I toss,I turn,
I can't sleep at night,
Because I don't feel you,
By my side,
I dream,
Tho I'm not sleeping,
And I sob,
Because, I'm dreaming,
Dreaming of you,

My mind is haunted,
With memories of us,
What could have proved worthy,
Of my love and my trust,
But, I had to break free,
Escape from your prison,
I had to kill myself
So, I could start living.

The American Life

All of these obsessions,
Are not mine alone,
The darkness around me,
It lives upon a throne,
The voices are real,
The tears are to,
But they are yet to effect,
Me nor You,
I need help,
but to the wrong sources I look,
Life is a story,
But not a fairytale from a book,
My worst nightmare's,
Are reality too,
Hate, war and drugs,
Are what I must live through,
I need a shoulder,

Intertwined

You and Me,
Are intertwined,
Climbing life's trellis,
With our beautiful vines,
We started growing from below,
We thought we wouldn't make it,
But little did we know,
We'd burst through the ground,
and look how we've grown,
Small and fragile we were,
Scared and alone,
But the further we climbed,
The more light we saw,
We became optimistic,
And began to grow tall,

The Clock On the Wall

Round and black,
Tick tock,
On the wall,
That menacing clock,
It stares me down,
I watch that clock,
Tick tock tick tock,
Every second passes by,
Killing me off,
Taking my life,
That menacing clock,
Tick tock tick tock,
What if that clock coul talk?
What would it say?
Just tick and tock,
Oh, I hate that awful clock,
So many precious moments,
It owns them,
It holds them,
