Poems and Quotes by Queen

Heaven

To be held in your arms,
close,
tight.

To smell the scent of you,
masculine,
divine.

To kiss your lips,
passionate,
romantic.

To look into your eyes,
sincere,
kind.

Just to have you for a moment,
in life,
in time.

Would feel like heaven in my heart,
body,
and mind.

Shattered

She glances upon her make-up mirror.
Cracked.
Seven years of bad luck.
In seven years, the reflection has been altered too many times to count.
Her once smooth mahogany skin is now blotched and scarred.
Her once almond shaped eyes are swollen beyond recognition.
She doesn't even recognize her own eyes.
But the tears that fill them are all too familiar.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel

Sometimes I wonder.
Why the fuck am I here?
Everybody has a purpose on God's green earth,
so why the fuck am I here?
What could lil ol' me do to make a better future for the children we reproduce?
Some days I just want to say fuck it.
Throw my hands in the air,
tell everybody to kiss my ass,
and leave.
Just pack my shit and go.
To leave life's stressors behind.
But I can't

Somewhere I Got Lost In You While You Were Inside Me

Our bodies became on to the point where I didn't know where my skin began and ended.
Us and the sheets were blended.
I closed my eyes for the ride and let you inside.
After the moans and groans,
twists and turns,
highs and lows,
and the baby please don't let go,
I let go.
And released.
And released.
And released all that was in me.
All that I am.

The Games We Play

In life the players change but the game stays the same.
Activities ranging from neighborhood to board games.
We play hide n seek when we try to find love,
and we hide from reality when we realize we didn't seek the right one.
We play seven minutes in heaven.
But seven minutes turns into russain roulette when we experience those seven minutes without a rubber or a hat.

Untitled: Words Can't Even Describe

Close your eyes.
Come inside.
Take a ride.
On the softer side.
Don't have to hide.
I'll be your guide.
Two of one kind.
To the highest high.
Is where we'll fly.
Cloud ten or nine.
Is where we'll reside.
In this world we find.
Just you and I.
Feels so good.
Words can't even describe.

Cliffhanger

Standing side by side on a mountain more than a few feet high.
With nothing but the ocean below us,
the sky above us,
and the unknown in front of us.
Hand in hand, frighteningly awaiting the outcome.
Imagining what the other is thinking.
We clutch our hands tighter,
sending a surge of numbness through our palms.
We take one last look at each other.
Close our eyes.
And jump.

Crucifixtion

Today is the day.
My body and soul will be burned.
Burned at the stake, for my mistakes.
The executioner will bind my hands,
and then my feet,
in thick ropes of memories that will make me turn purple.
I will lay in a bed full of rusty nails and broken glass of sadness.
I will be left in a forest.
No food, No weapons.
Wolves will smell my blood.

Nervous

I want to open my heart and free my mind.
Use my brown eyes to see inside.
I want to hold you close and call you my own.
Give you all of me.
Receive all of you.
And share with one another what we've found in each other.

I want to grow and maintain.
Restore and rebuild.
Converse and confide.
Unmask the hurt, reveal what I hide.

I want to have faith and believe.

Outer Space

Tonight.
I'm going to see the stars.
Never been to Mars,
but I know it's out of this world.

Tonight.
I'll be your astronaut.
Discover new galaxies,
take a stroll down the Milky Way.

Tonight.
Baby you can have it any way.
On any day.
Or night.
Full moon, Blue moon,
My feet can't touch the ground because your gravitational pull is just right.

Tonight.
Make me a meteor shower.
