Atleast I Didn't Lie

Somebody asked if they could get to know who I am,
So I answered her questions as a reliable man.
“So, what do you do to pass the time?”
-Sometimes I pretend to have a grip on my mind.
“What would you consider to be your obsession?”
-Whatever it takes to down the aggression.
“What goes on in your head when you stare into space?”
-I imagine life, only with a shadow taking my place.
“Have you ever loved someone that wasn’t related?”
- Well, once I stayed longer then I ever anticipated.
“Tell me the truth, have you ever been hurt?”
-There´s a point in everyones life where they change for the worst.
“Where´d your eyes get that emptiness from?”
-Same place I got the taste of lies on my tongue.
“Is it true that you have problems with trust?”
-Too many people I know believe only in lust.
“Can you atleast explain what you mean?”
-I´m only an image of the shit that I`ve seen.
“Be honest, why won`t you answer the questions I`ve asked?”
...Why would I ever want to relive what`s bound to the past?
