Love Poem

Standing side by side on a mountain more than a few feet high.
With nothing but the ocean below us,
the sky above us,
and the unknown in front of us.
Hand in hand, frighteningly awaiting the outcome.
Imagining what the other is thinking.
We clutch our hands tighter,
sending a surge of numbness through our palms.
We take one last look at each other.
Close our eyes.
And jump.

ur right....its about being

ur right....its about being afraid of beginning another relationship after you've been hurt in the previous one. so you either let ur fears keep u from starting something that could be wonderful, or throw caution into the wind and just jump into it. but u have to make a choice because the option is not going to be around forever.

I really like this poem. I

I really like this poem. I see it as a metaphor in a sense. It makes me want to take more leaps of my own. Be a little less reserved and sometimes just go with th flow of life. I would also like to thank you for your comment on my last entry!!!
