The Games We Play
In life the players change but the game stays the same.
Activities ranging from neighborhood to board games.
We play hide n seek when we try to find love,
and we hide from reality when we realize we didn't seek the right one.
We play seven minutes in heaven.
But seven minutes turns into russain roulette when we experience those seven minutes without a rubber or a hat.
Then heaven becomes hell and we don't know what to do.
I guess you can say we have no clue.
So we try to figure out who done it and when,
and clue becomes guess who when we try to remember names and place faces.
The whole world wants to play monopoly and own houses and hotels.
Everybody wants to live on Boardwalk and Park Place when the truth is we aint even got two hundred dollars to pass go.
Bush's favorite game is I declare war and Cheney loves duck hunt.
But I think if anything they should be playing school.
It's funny,
We all think we're grown but in reality we're just kids with the games we play.

You are a great poet, or should I say a great writer. I don't want to limit your abilities. I love how you formatted and expressed this right here. I love the basis you touched, from the board games to the political. It is camical and interesting. Keep up the excellent performances.
